LG Electronics launch Oil-Free Magnetic Bearing Centrifugal Chillers

LG Electronics have launched oil-free, VSD driven, magnetic bearing centrifugal chillers that have the largest capacity in the market utilising a single compressor!

The single compressor model of this chiller can offer up to 3.8MW of cooling capacity. This VSD driven chiller can offer a full-load COP of 7.0 and an IPLV of 12.0 at AHRI conditions.

The dual compressor model will be launched in early 2018 and will offer a total cooling capacity of 7.7MW!

LG manufacturer their own magnetic bearing centrifugal compressor for these chillers. Therefore, service lead times will be significantly reduced as all service parts (including the magnetic bearing compressor) are manufactured by LG Electronics themselves.
